My name is Dr. Sarai Tufala (Ph.d, MA (Hons), BA (Hons)). At TE ALA, we are dedicated to raising awareness about mental health in the workplace. Our passionate team combines persona and professional experiences with qualifications to provide valuable insights into mental health awareness in the workplace. The emphasis is firstly to educate about mental health, then apply tit to the workplace context. Workplace mental health requirement is a legal obligation that is part of the Health and Safety regulations. Hence TOTIKA certification assistance is included in our programs.

We tailor to diverse needs in relation to Pacific and other ethnic cultural and language specific needs, migrant statuses, government agencies, community groups, sports clubs, and even educational institutions. 

To improve mental health welbeing in the workplace: LITERACY and NUMERACY programs are also provided for extra support if requested.

Our Managemnt and Employee Support Programs provide confidential guidance for personal and work-related challenges, focusing on mental wellbeing and resilience, how to recognise mental illness symptoms and how to access treatment. TE ALA works closely with organizations to develop customized mental health policies that create a culture of understanding and support, tailored to their specific needs.

What is involved in assisting with the Totika certification requirement?

WORKSAFE has detailed the regulation for workplaces to acquire Totika certification, we will guide workplaces to follow the guidelines and satisfy its application requirement. 

Are there any incentives and rewards?

There will be a monthly draw of new clients and the winner has the choice of either a weekend trip to a holiday tiny house and camp on a 10 acres waterfront property in Northland, or a discount on the first workshop.
